Continuing the Workshop Phase
Today we'll be doing our second and final workshop for the philosophical analysis papers (which will be due this week). By now, you'll have received several rounds of feedback, and should have the paper's structure more or less set (i.e. each section is filled in, a reader could easily outline each section and tell you what they're trying to do).
This is when we'll focus on smaller tweaks and revisions, e.g. objections you may not have considered yet, strengthening the prose at the sentence level, making sure the argument flows, etc. Bring at least 3 printed copies of your essay to class and come ready to revise!

Note: None of these resources is tailored to the specific assignment you've been given, so if there are structural suggestions (e.g. page-length, a proposed outline of sections), it's unlikely that those will line up perfectly with what we're doing in this class. But the more general advice that's provided in these resources is really useful, so I encourage you to skim or read through two or three to see if you can pick up any helpful principles:
